CRUISE Day 15 – Friday, August 2nd
We left Duck Key at 11:30 am
– it’s going to be 96º plus heat index today so it was a welcome breeze that kicked up out on the Atlantic. We are going to stop to go snorkeling on our way to Marathon, as there
are some of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the world, right here in the Florida Keys. We arrived at our snorkeling destination at around 2:30 pm and had a great time! I thought Salty would want to jump in after us, but he was quite happy to sit on the swim platform and watch… and wait. We arrived in Marathon and docked at
Faro Blanco Marina at 5:30 pm where they have “floating house boats” they rent out – a bit run down and worn since the last time we were there, but it was just a stop-over and we didn’t have to stay in them anyway.
